Over 250 celebrated Guests and dignitaries enjoyed Champagne, Canapés followed by a short River Cruise to the Royal Windsor Racecourse for an event sponsored by GS Hotels and Resorts. An excellent alternative to Royal Ascot in York and a very splendid and profitable evening enjoyed by one or two luckier members of the Council!

 

The evening continued with a sumptuous buffet and sabrage at the hotel. Group Chairman Goran Strok led the way with a perfect sabrage followed by Lord Taylor, President of GS Hotels and Resorts. Clare Logue presented Mr Strok with a personalised sabre and congratulated the Company on their magnificent collection of 4 and 5 star Hotels in the Thames Valley and Croatia. The event was captured on Croatian Television with Ambassador Julien White giving a marvellous account of The Art of Sabrage to the fascinated Croatians.
